Lysa Chain is the stage name of Elisa Chittaro, an Italian DJ and producer from Friuli Venezia Giulia who makes peak-time and melodic techno built on her own vocals, analog machines and live instruments.
Born in north-eastern Italy in 1988, she studied piano and singing before working as a dancer and singer, then trained in electronic music production at SAE Institute in Milan. She started DJing in 2017 as e-Lisa, sharing the bill at Wish Summer Adventure Festival with Martin Garrix, Vinai, Deorro and Quintino, and moved towards techno and melodic techno with the Lysa Chain project.
Her releases have come out on Reload Records, Reload Black Label, Animarum Black, Animarum Recordings, Red Eclipse Recordings, Gain Plus and Critical State, including Lose Control, Dance All Night, Blackout, Sex and Drugs, Lost In Techno, Gravity, the Catch Me EP and the techno rework of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen with singer Debora Del Dò and violinist Deborah Lizzi.
On stage she mixes DJing with drum machines, synthesizers, loops, handpan, flute and voice. Her live sets have played the Dolomites at Passo Giau with Deborah Lizzi on violin, the Snow Rugby festival in Tarvisio, the Forni di Sopra ice rink with figure skater Lucrezia Gennaro, and clubs and festivals across Italy. In 2026 she premiered ELYSIUM, a live audiovisual show with real-time visuals, generative AI and a custom voice engine.
